Information we may collect
We may collect business contact information such as a name, work email address, business telephone number, job title, company name, website details, and communications you send to us. We may also keep brief notes about a business's publicly available enquiry routes where relevant to our services.
How we use it
We use information to respond to enquiries, discuss or provide our services, manage business relationships, keep appropriate records, and send relevant business-to-business information about InboundMend where permitted by law.
Marketing and your right to object
If we contact you about InboundMend, you can ask us to stop using your information for direct marketing at any time. Email optout@inboundmend.co.uk and we will add your details to our suppression list so that we do not send further marketing messages.
Our legal basis
Where we process business contact information to promote relevant services or manage a prospective business relationship, we generally rely on legitimate interests. We balance these interests against individuals' rights and stop direct marketing when someone objects. We may also process information where needed to take steps at your request before entering a contract, to perform a contract, or to meet a legal obligation.
Where information comes from
Information may be provided directly by you or obtained from publicly available business sources, including company websites, professional directories, and public company information.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. We may use carefully selected providers to run our email, website, storage, and business administration systems where they process information on our behalf. We may also disclose information where required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, including record-keeping and legal obligations. If you opt out of marketing, we retain only the minimum information needed to honour that request.
Cookies and analytics
InboundMend uses a small amount of browser storage to remember your cookie choice. This is essential for the cookie settings feature to work.
Google Analytics is configured for this site but will only load after you choose to accept analytics cookies. It will not load before consent, and you can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the site footer.
When enabled, Google Analytics may process online identifiers, pages and interactions, referrer information, timestamps, browser and device information, and approximate location information. We use it to measure aggregate traffic and improve the site. We rely on consent for this optional processing. Refusing analytics does not prevent you using the site. We have set Analytics event-data retention to 14 months, and do not use Google Signals, Google Ads linking or advertising personalisation.
| Type | Purpose | When used |

Google says that Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. Google may process personal data as described in its privacy policy. You can read the ICO's guidance on cookies for more information.
